To ensure the efficient and effective production of injection moulded products on the shift by effectively controlling all production resources utilized in order to achieve the production and quality targets set, while ensuring that SHEQ standards are maintained.
Introduction
We are excited to invite a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Waste Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling production waste generated during the manufacturing process, ensuring accurate waste segregation, recording, and disposal in line with company procedures and environmental standards. You will track waste volumes, conduct routine inspections, identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve recycling initiatives, report any deviations or non-conformances, and maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment at all times.
Job description

 The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling waste management processes  while contributing across various key areas, including:

  •  waste control, 
  •  Safety, as well as SHEQ and Food Safety requirements where applicable.

The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, coordinating waste collection and recycling activities, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance, while demonstrating strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum requirements

  • Matric with Maths, Tech Maths or Maths Literacy (50% )
  • 1–3 years’ experience of working in Injection Moulding manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift License
